Cash Please!

I just had to share this story ... it cracked me up and I wanted to remember it!

So Abby & I are in the car at the bank the other day. I pull up, put my check in the drawer, and tell the teller "cash please."

Then Abby starts waving to the teller saying "Hi Cash, Hi" waving at him and everything. I was laughing and telling her that was not his name, that cash is the money I was getting. She was not listening she was too busy saying "Hi Cash, Hi!" Then he moves where she can't see him and she starts saying "Cash, where are you?" - over and over ... so funny!

I don't think the teller guy had his speaker on, b/c he acted like he didn't hear her. But it certainly was entertaining. So funny!

Easter Germs

The Easter Bunny brought us germs this year! Abby started getting sick last weekend and as of today we have had 3 trips to the pediatrician! Woohoo!! I know - ridiculous! This girl was really sick at the beginning of the week, they thought she had pneumonia, but it turned out to be bronchitis. Then a couple days later she starts saying "ear itch" and trying to dig in her ear and hitting her ear like she was mad at it (she is weird, I know). So this afternoon we went back for our third visit this week to confirm she does in fact have an ear infection now. Ugh! Needless to say it hasn't been our best week. Maybe tonight we will all sleep!

However, we did have a great weekend in Oklahoma for Easter. As always Momma Renee cooked up some delicious meals and Nathan & I even went to a movie. We saw Slumdog Millionaire - it was really good, I would definitely recommend seeing it.

Here are a few Easter pics.

Hippity, hoppity Easter's on its way ...

Well, Easter is just around the corner, but we have already had some practice hunting eggs. Last weekend our class at church had an Easter egg hunt and picnic. We had a good time despite the cold wind that morning.

Playing at the park before the picnic!

I am afraid Abby is going to need a bit more practice hunting eggs, because she is not quite grasping the concept of gathering the eggs. All she likes to do is find one egg, sit down, open it up and eat the candy. That's it! We kept telling her ... put the egg in your basket, pick up your basket, look there is another egg ... on and on ... it was hilarious! So as you can see from the pictures ... mostly she is sitting opening eggs. Too funny!
