Happy New Year!!!

Let me start with ...I apologize for being such a bad blogger! I don't really have a good excuse, just life gets busy around the holidays.

So Happy 2009!

We had a great Christmas in Oklahoma & Plano this year. This was the first year Abby was kind of into it ... so that made it even more fun. I was worried about putting up the tree and all the decor around the house thinking she would be into all of it or pulling the tree over or opening presents, but she surprised me and really didn't do any of that. However, once she opened her first present on Christmas Eve ... it was like a light went off that ALL of them were going to be opened and then it was ON! She was ripping into them one after another. I guess I hadn't considered the fact that she didn't know what to do with them before that. It was fun to see it all through her eyes!

We really haven't done much since Christmas. Nathan has had to work, but I have been home with Abby for a little over 2 weeks. I am kind of dreading going back to work tomorrow, but I guess it's not so bad when you only work part-time. I have done lots of cleaning out of things and reorganizing projects. We had a pretty quiet New Years Eve. My parents came for a couple of days and let Na and I go out. We only made it through dinner, we're both so tired (and overly full from eating Chuy's) by 8 pm that we skipped our movie and headed home. We are total wusses!!! Really life has been pretty quiet, so we can be thankful for that! Hope you all have a great start to the new year.
