It is baby day!!!

Just heard from my mom they are going to induce Whitley today! Yippee we are going to have a new nephew today. I will update you as soon as he arrives: say a little prayer for Zach & Whitley today.

How old is ...

So I asked Abby tonight how old she was and she said 3(not quite yet), so I said well how old is Tiffany (our sitter) and she said 2 and then how old is mommy and she said 11, so then how old is daddy ... She said 6! Ha! I said well you are right about daddy ... Maturity wise anyway! Hahaha, love it.

Just trying this out ... Just learned you can blog from your phone!!! Maybe this will help me update my blog more often.

Prayer

Abby wanted to say our prayer at dinner tonight, it went something like this ...

"Dear God, thank you for our food, thank you for our family, thank you for strawberries, bluebellies (blueberries), beans and chips. Thank you for Jesus ... AMEN (said quite loudly)."

Oh my we were so proud! We have been working on saying prayers with just thank you for our food and thank you for our family, but she made it her own tonight.

Just had to share and remind myself that we must be doing something right! It is certainly the moments like these that keep you going - if you have/or have had a 2 year old you know what I mean. :)

Hope everyone is off to a great start this New Year. I will try to catch up this weekend and blog about our holidays.

Busy Weekend!

Abby's first slumber party ... she got to spend Saturday night with Kendal and then they brought her to church Sunday morning. It was great!! Nathan & I went to dinner & a movie. It was a fun time for all!
